About this visa

Stay up to 180 days for tourism, business or remote work.

The B211A is Indonesia's most popular long-stay visa. It's a single-entry visit visa issued for 60 days, with two on-shore extensions of 60 days each — so you can legally stay for up to 180 days without leaving the country.

It's the right choice if you're working remotely for an employer outside Indonesia, attending a longer business engagement, doing market research, or simply wanting to spend more than a month exploring.

We provide the local sponsorship required by immigration, prepare the digital lodgement and handle every extension on your behalf.

  • Remote workers

Employees and freelancers working for non-Indonesian companies who want a longer stay than the VOA allows.

  • Business travellers

Consultants, founders and investors holding meetings, signing partnerships or running due diligence.

  • Long-term tourists

Travellers planning to spend a season in Indonesia, surf the dry season, or split time between islands.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Anything else? WhatsApp us — we usually reply within an hour.

How long does the B211A take?

Standard processing is 5–7 working days from the day all documents are received. Express turnaround is available depending on immigration queues.

Can I really stay 180 days?

Yes. You enter on a 60-day permit, then we lodge two 60-day extensions on-shore. No need to leave Indonesia between extensions.

Can I work for a local company on a B211A?

No. The B211A does not permit local employment. You can work remotely for foreign employers and clients while you're here.

What happens if I overstay?

Indonesian immigration charges IDR 1,000,000 per day of overstay. Long overstays can result in deportation and re-entry bans, so we always plan extensions early.
