About this visa
Live in Bali and work remotely for a company outside Indonesia.
The E33G Digital Nomad KITAS is Indonesia's residence permit for remote workers: a full year of legal residence with unlimited entries and exits, built for people whose income comes from outside Indonesia.
It must be applied for offshore, while you are outside Indonesia, so plan the application before your flight. You can hold it while working remotely for a foreign employer or your own foreign clients; being paid by an Indonesian company still requires a working KITAS (E23).

Proof of remote work
Employment contract with a company outside Indonesia, or client contracts and company registration for freelancers and founders.
Proof of income
Bank statements from the last 3 months showing a balance of USD 5,000 or more.

The E33G is an offshore application. We lodge it before you fly and time the approval to your arrival date.

Can I work for an Indonesian company on the E33G?
No. The E33G covers remote work for employers and clients outside Indonesia only. Taking a job with an Indonesian company or being paid by an Indonesian entity requires the E23 working KITAS, which we also arrange.
What does offshore application mean?
The application must be lodged while you are outside Indonesia. We prepare and submit everything remotely, then time the approval so the permit is ready when you land. If you're already in Bali on a visit visa, we plan the transition with you.
How long does the process take?
Standard processing is 8–14 working days once documents are complete. Start about a month before your intended move so there's room for document corrections.
